Holographic Telepresence Communication
< SCIENTIFIC DOCUMENTATION & FIELD STUDY >
EXECUTIVE CORE METHODOLOGY
Architecting dynamic spatial communications pipelines, focusing on real-time depth capture, rapid point-cloud compression, and dynamic holograph projection.
Holographic telepresence systems merge real-time volumetric video capture with diffractive displays, enabling live, three-dimensional communication that allows users to interact as if sharing the same physical room.
The capture process utilizes circular rigs of calibrated depth cameras that record the sender’s shape, color, and movement in real time. This spatial data is converted into dense, compressed point-cloud streams, designed to fit standard network bandwidth.
On the receiving end, high-speed phase modulators reconstruct the decoded points, casting a life-sized, high-contrast holographic representation of the sender. This fluid spatial projection bridges physical distance, paving the way for remote collaboration.
